Reception – Welcome to Term 6!
Welcome back to the final term! We are really excited to start our new Topic of ‘On the beach’. During this Topic we will learn about the plants and animals that live at the seaside. It also explores holidays in the past and the importance of keeping safe in the Sun and Water.
We will continue working on our Phonics and Maths throughout the term. In Phonics, we will be focusing on longer words and words with different suffixes e.g. -est -ing -er. In Maths, we will continue to deepen our understanding of number as well as looking at pairs, sharing, odds and evens.
Towards the end of the term, we will also begin our transition into Year 1. We will be meeting our new teachers, taking a tour of our new classes and getting ready for September.
