A Season of Giving and Joy at Holy Trinity 🎄

A Season of Giving and Joy at Holy Trinity 🎄

The Christmas season is a time for giving, sharing joy, and spreading love, and at Holy Trinity, our students, families, and staff have truly embraced these values. This December, we’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity and festive spirit that has shone through every activity and event.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Thursday, 12th December, our school community came together to celebrate Christmas in style. The children donned their most festive Christmas jumpers for our annual Christmas Jumper Day, raising £280 for a fantastic cause. Seeing so many of our students and families supporting this event while sporting their brightest and most creative holiday attire was heartwarming. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, whether through donations or by making the day extra special with their Christmas spirit.

The funds raised will go towards supporting families in need this holiday season, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the kindness shown by our community.

Reverse Advent Calendar

As part of our ongoing commitment to helping others, our school also participated in the Reverse Advent Calendar initiative. In the lead-up to Christmas, families generously contributed items to be donated to The Methodist Church in Gravesend. The church will distribute the items to local families facing hardship.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this wonderful cause. Your generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most this Christmas.

A Magical Performance at the Mayor’s Carol Concert

Our talented choir members were privileged to perform at St. George’s Church on Sunday, 8th December, for the prestigious Mayor’s Carol Concert. It was a magical evening, with our choir filling the church with beautiful voices and spreading festive cheer to all who attended. The choir’s performance showcased their musical talents and was a testament to the children’s and their music teachers’ hard work and dedication.

We are incredibly proud of all the children involved, and they should be commended for representing our school with grace and poise. It was a special occasion, and their performance made it even more memorable for everyone present.

Sharing Christmas Joy at Gravesham Place Care Home

In yet another heartwarming gesture, some of our choir members had the opportunity to perform for the elderly residents at Gravesham Place Care Home. Their festive songs brought joy, laughter, and even a little dancing as the residents enthusiastically joined in. It was a truly magical moment as the children shared the warmth and spirit of Christmas with the elderly residents, many of whom were deeply touched by the visit.

The smiles, songs, and sense of community that filled the air made the day unforgettable. Our students were so proud to brighten someone’s day, and we couldn’t be prouder of them for sharing the magic of Christmas with others.

As we look back on these events, we are filled with gratitude for our students, families, and staff. The spirit of giving has been displayed this December, reminding us of what Christmas is all about. We wish all our families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄 Thank you for your continued support and for helping make this holiday season brighter for those who need it most.

Here’s to another year of making a difference, one act of kindness at a time!
